Since forming in 2003, Passafire has released a total of six studio albums and boasts credits like producing with Paul Leary (Sublime, Pepper, U2, Slightly Stoopid), #1 albums on both the Billboard and iTunes Reggae charts, and sharing stages with rock-reggae OGs 311 and Pepper, and legends Toots & the Maytals, the Wailers, and John Brown’s Body, who in the band’s early years, inspired them to explore reggae with a gritty edge.

Born and raised in North Carolina, Tan and Sober Gentlemen began taking the songs, stories, and tunes that make up their beloved state’s musical tradition before they could talk. The music of the Carolinas, (and Appalachia in general) stems from the marriage of the Irish fiddle and the African banjo, which first met in the American South before the Revolution. Tan and Sober Gentlemen aim to bring these traditions full circle.

Heavy Bone and the Good Time Zydeco Band is a five piece group based out of Ithaca, NY. Zydeco has been in the background of these gentlemen’s lives since the beginning. The Hourglass Kids started as a group of high school friends jamming in North Carolina basements, growing over the years into a dynamic seven-piece reggae-jam-rock collective. Their music spans an eclectic mix of styles, blending roots reggae, psychedelic jam, hip-hop, funk, and jazz-rock, and has carved them their own space in the roots music scene.

Courtney Lynn & Quinn, an Americana duo based in Wilmington, N.C., features married frontwomen Courtney Lynn Russell and Quinn Russell. They began their musical journeys separately in Charlotte, N.C.—Courtney with her indie-folk style and Quinn with her soulful voice. As they started performing together at open mics and songwriter nights, their musical chemistry became evident, leading them to form a duo in 2018.

Borrowed Earth is a musical ensemble born out of decades of collaboration between a variety of musicians who have shared stages in a variety of ways. The band takes its name from a Native American proverb that states “We don’t inherit the Earth from our ancestors, we borrow it from our children.”

Alicia B. and The Now is fronted by a strong and soulful vocalist, guitarist and songwriter.  This North Carolina Native writes heartwarming and thought provoking songs, and adds, "For me music is a vessel to inspire, encourage and help people to wake up to and heal themselves.  To help people realize life is a chance for self discovery, exploration of consciousness and community.

The Front Porch All Star Family Band began as a showcase to the talented musicians in our "FAMILY". Our Allstars can be found behind the stage as well as performing on them as our family grows so does the band, who will show up this year? Led by Scott Lofranco and festival co-founder Malcom Fields, the All Star Family Band have evolved from a staff party into a festival highlight and the absolute perfect way to close out an amazing weekend.  Some of the past themes have been "Ladies Night", "Porchstock", "50 years of Space" and last year's theme "Love Letters".
