The Grand Ole Uproar

The Grand Ole Uproar’s cosmic American gumbo conjures up the funky flavors of New Orleans, Waylon Jennings and Doug Sahm’s Texas twang, the electric carnival of Dylan and the Band, the improvisational impulses of the Grateful Dead, and the laid-back swampy sound of J.J. Cale.

Since 2010, the Grand Ole Uproar has frequently toured the Southeast. In 2014, Whiskeytown’s Caitlin Cary appeared on the band’s full length release, Good Long Spell. The Uproar has shared the stage with artists like Grammy Award winning Texas trio Los Lonely Boys, Zach Deputy,The Hackensaw Boys, PALEFACE, The Deadstring Brothers, The Corbitt Brothers, Boy Named Banjo, Empire Strikes Brass, Cosmic Charlie, Circus Mutt, and Crystal Bright and the Silverhands.
